Love this recipe!
I once used strawberries that I had frozen in a glaze instead of the pie filling and my dad’s eyes lit up, “Where did you get the strawberries?!”
1 cup powdered sugar
1(8 ounce) package cream cheese(softened)
1(8 ounce) pkg. frozen whipped cream (thawed)
14 ounces angel food cake
2(14 -16 ounce) cans pie filling (any flavor)
Blend powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Cut Angel Food cake into 1 inch cubes.
Fold whipping cream and cake cubes into the cream cheese mixture.
Put the entire mix into a 9 x 12 pan, cover and refrigerate for several hours.
Cut into portions and spoon pie filling on top of each portion. Enjoy!
