One of the things my son often asks for is my Homemade Rising Crust Pizza. It is a popular meal that is both filling and delicious!
All you need are 3 packages of pizza crust mix, 1 can pizza sauce, 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese, 1 lb ground beef, 2 Tablespoons Margarine, 1/2 c. water, 2 Tablespoons Vegetable oil, Cooking spray
Preheat oven to 350°.
Spray a mixing bowl with cooking spray. Mix the water and the three packages of pizza crust mix in the bowl.
Sprinkle the oil over the ball of dough. Cover and let sit in a warm place.
While the dough is sitting, brown the ground beef.
Coat a pizza pan with the margarine and spread the dough out on the pan. Place in oven and bake 10 minutes.
While baking, mix the pizza sauce with the beef. Spread on baked pizza crust.
Add mozzarella cheese and bake ten more minutes or until cheese is melted.
Bon appétit !! Enjoy!
This recipe can easily adapt to substitutions! You could use cheddar cheese or even add Parmesan. You could also add other meats.
